This newest installment in The Others series is chock full of tension. I think it may be the strongest of the books so far as well. Meg continues to grow and learn and she’s living up to being the Trailblazer. We see more of what’s happening in different parts of the country, and sometimes across the ocean.
Very interested to see how things are going to progress from here, how much more of the Elders we’ll get to see (they’ve become interested and curious about Meg, and they’re a large, tangible presence in this book), and if more will come of Meg’s search for alternatives to cutting for prophecy, such as Hope’s drawing.
